Good photographers are all over the place these days, and everyone has a very portable high quality camera in their pockets and handbags. So, why do I do this? Mainly because I have being doing this for blinking ages.
On this 'ere website are some of my finest digitally manipulated images, with the Golden Rule of not doing the Photoshop thing - no erasing of awkward bits (maybe enhancing them) - just tweeking about with contrast, brightness and some simple square cropping.
I use The Gimp, which is not some kind of kinky mask, but a Jolly Good, free (beer/freedom) image processing program - and I've used it for decades.
